Kadiwaku Foundation is a DRC-based non-profit entity, with national scope, committed to eradicating poverty by supporting self-employment among disadvantaged youth, especially young with disabilities through micro-entrepreneurship development services, and advancing disability rights by improving the ability of people with disability to advocate for their human rights to participate in civil and political life.
Our inclusive entrepreneurship accelerator programme supports people with disabilities to develop the skills needed to start their own business. Launched in 2018, the project had been implemented in seven cities in the DRC. To date, 360 successful alumni have started businesses, mostly in the fields of IT and telecommunications, finance, and fashion.
KFF also offers co-working spaces with meeting rooms and Internet access to support entrepreneurs. It has developed a network of programme alumni and disabled entrepreneurs in the DRC who also provide support.
